http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php/wacom+tablet?content=114856

Situation:
My normal mouse is on the left side, with buttons switched for left hand use (so button 1 is mapped to 3 and the other way round). The pad is placed on the right side. Now the pen button mapping is wrong for the tablet and I can't configure the pen's tip to be button 3! The same for touch operation: gesture for "left click" produces right click and I can't reconfigure that, too.

Is this possible only by invoking the xsetwacom tool directly?

Any hints from wacom tablet users are welcome!

Martin

A und AB bzw. B und AB.

Über Tipps würde ich mich sehr freuen!

LG
Oliver

1) As Root open unity subfolder of your theme, e.g. /usr/share/themes/Adwaita Cupertino SL Unity/unity
2) Select and copy all image files named "*_focused_*.png" except "close_focused_normal.png",selecting "close.png" instead (12 files)
3) Create a new folder (e.g. Adwaita Cupertino), open and paste in it
4) Rename all 12 image files as "*_dash.png", "*_dash_prelight.png" and "*_dash_pressed.png"
5) Move this new folder into folder /usr/share/unity
6) Open folder /usr/share/unity/4 in a new tab, select and copy all its contents, and paste them into the new folder /usr/share/unity/Adwaita Cupertino but skip all files that require replacement
7) Rename folder /usr/share/unity/4 as /usr/share/unity/Default
8) Create a copy of folder /usr/share/unity/Adwaita Cupertino as /usr/share/unity/4 (this saves a backup copy of the new unity dashboard theme in case it's replaced during an upgrade)
9) Log off and login to refresh unity dashboard

Are there any rules/howto's somewhere?

Are there any rules or standards how to pack a wallpaper?

I have this jpg-image in all the kde wallpaper sizes (on my server).

Shall I insert an entry for each size or make such a package? Or both? Or what?

Sorry, exploring kde-looks and google did not answer my question. Maybe you?

WebUI for Amarok - Playlist Problems http://openDesktop.org//content/show.php?action=knowledgebase&content=114438&kbid=807 http://openDesktop.org//content/show.php?action=knowledgebase&content=114438&kbid=807 http://openDesktop.org//content/show.php?action=knowledgebase&content=114438&kbid=807 2012-01-12T12:04:39+01:00 I have found some information on what may be the problem here: http://old.nabble.com/-Bug-267815--New%3A-Amarok-webui-script-does-not-modify-playlist-anymore-td31081753.html
I have also noticed you have a few //FIXME:'s in the amarokctrl.js file; does this have anything to do with it?
For more information:
I have an external collection located at /shared_files/music,
I am using Amarok 2.4.3,
KDE 4.7.1,
Kubuntu 11.10,
Version 0.3 of the WebUI script for Amarok.
Thanks in advance,
Karl Voss

I fixed it!
I navigated into where the script was located, and simply changed the addTracksToPlaylist function to one recommended by mcongom in the comments on the app. The playlist functions now work fine.

Firefox and spng/ppng issue http://Linux42.org/kb/Firefox+and+spng%2Fppng+issue/?kbid=805 http://Linux42.org/kb/Firefox+and+spng%2Fppng+issue/?kbid=805 http://Linux42.org/kb/Firefox+and+spng%2Fppng+issue/?kbid=805 2012-01-09T21:31:07+01:00
The issue is this:

* Using Firefox 9.0.1, accessing owncloud, gives multiple 404 errors in the log that it cannot find a list of files:

"GET /core/img/filetypes/file.ppng) HTTP/1.1" 404 310
"GET /core/img/filetypes/text.ppng) HTTP/1.1" 404 310
"GET /core/img/places/home.spng) HTTP/1.1" 404 307
"GET /core/img/places/folder.spng) HTTP/1.1" 404 309
"GET /core/img/breadcrumb-start.spng) HTTP/1.1" 404 312
"GET /core/img/actions/search.spng) HTTP/1.1" 404 310
"GET /core/img/places/home.spng) HTTP/1.1" 404 307
"GET /core/img/actions/search.spng) HTTP/1.1" 404 310
"GET /core/img/breadcrumb-start.spng) HTTP/1.1" 404 312
"GET /core/img/places/folder.spng) HTTP/1.1" 404 309

These files, of course, do not exist, they are either .svg or .png files.

* Using Chromium or Safari does not generate these 404 errors.

We use Ossec for intrusion detection and prevention as well as advanced firewall scripts associated with the Ossec blocks, so it would be best if we could fix this.

It appears to only affect Firefox.

The problem is that many of the graphics do not disply - owncloud logo, logoff button, settings, share, rename, download, delete etc

However, if I run the ownCloud demo page on owncloud.org everything displys just fine.

This me think it is an apache or OS issue but I am not sure where to look.

I am running Centos 5 and Gnome desktop.

Any thoughts?

Gary

I seem to have found the answer to this one. It appears indeed to be an apache issue in that appache was not passing the SVG information correctly.

I found an article that suggested adding the following to .htaccess file in the owncloud top folder

AddType image/svg+xml svg
AddType image/svg+xml svgz

Once I had cleared the IE Cache all seems to be working fine.

That said there do appear to be one or two page formatting issues with ownCloud such as check boxes overlying file icon but i am sure they will be sorted in version x.x.x.x

Hope this hepls others who may be playing this this package.

Gary
